Right now…
a homeschool parent is stuck exactly where you once were.
Become A
Trusted Voice
of Homeschool Curriculum
You’ve already done the hard work of figuring out what actually works for your kids. Now help the next overwhelmed parent skip the expensive mistakes.
If you’ve homeschooled at least a year, apply. We’ll be in touch when a space opens in our next cohort.
APPLY NOWRemember choosing your first curriculum?
You researched. You invested. You crossed your fingers.
Some choices worked beautifully.
Others had you ready to launch the workbook across the room by week three.
Now imagine if, back then, you’d had honest reviews from real homeschool families — parents who’d actually used that curriculum, with kids like yours, who told you what worked, what flopped, and exactly who it was right for.
That’s what we’re building at Homeschool Foundry. And it only works when parents like you share what you’ve already figured out.
Your experience is the review someone else is desperate to find.
Built With Homeschool Parents Like You
There’s no “right kind” of homeschool parent for this. Whatever your story, another family is searching for a voice exactly like yours. Find yourself below.
The Veteran
After 10+ years and more curriculum than you can count, your retrospective is exactly what other families need.
The New Homeschooler
You’re one or two years in, and your fresh decisions are exactly what brand-new homeschool parents need to hear.
The Working Parent
You’re juggling full-time work with homeschool, and you know which curriculum actually fit a busy life.
The Special-Needs Parent
You’ve searched for honest reviews of curriculum for ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or giftedness, and come up empty more often than not.
The Dad
Homeschool reviews have almost no male voices, so your perspective is needed, valued, and underrepresented.
The Village
Grandparent, co-op leader, or the other adult in the homeschool — you see curriculum from angles most reviews miss.
Every worldview has a voice here.
Homeschooling is diverse. Honest reviews should be too.
For some families, secular curriculum is the best fit.
For others, faith-based curriculum is the best fit.
Reviews that ignore worldview are incomplete.
That’s why we’re intentionally curating Trusted Voices to include a diversity of worldviews, including:
The reviews you write help decide which curriculum the next family chooses, which ones they skip, and which ones become trusted go-tos. And if you ever change your mind, you stay in full control — edit or delete any review, anytime.

Why our cohorts stay small
We could open the door to everyone on our list. We choose not to.
We’re building a diverse roster of homeschool parents. We’re looking for different philosophies, different family situations, different regions, different years of experience. If we said yes to everyone, we’d end up with thousands of reviews from people who all use the same three curriculum. Smaller, hand-picked cohorts mean richer reviews, more diverse voices, and a better experience for every parent in the room.
We don’t set an exact cohort size — we open a cohort when we can give it our full attention, and we choose from parents who’ve already applied.

How this started
I won $13,000 — and gave it to homeschool parents.
Hi, I’m Jen.
A few months after I co-founded Homeschool Foundry, I pitched the idea that homeschool parents deserve honest reviews instead of polished publisher marketing. The judges agreed and I won $13,000.
I knew exactly what to do with it: share it with other homeschool parents. That money funded our very first group of Trusted Voices reviewers.
Now I’m on a mission to keep compensating homeschool parents for what you’ve already lived – the curriculum decisions, the trial and error, the things that worked and the things that bombed. Your experience is worth real money, and Homeschool Foundry exists to pay it forward to the next overwhelmed parent at their kitchen table with 27 browser tabs open.
If you’ve homeschooled at least a year and you have opinions on the curriculum you’ve used, apply. We’ll keep you in mind as we open future cohorts.
— Jen Myers, Co-founder of Homeschool Foundry

Common FAQs
How much time will this actually take?
Averaging 10 minutes a day for 7 days. Each review takes 3-5 minutes because we’ve structured them to be quick. The rhythm is one review a day, but it’s not required. Skip days if life happens and catch up the next.
Is this only for moms?
Not at all. Any homeschool parent fits. Dads, moms, grandparents, primary caregivers. If you’ve been making curriculum decisions for your family, we want to hear from you.
How long does each review need to be?
About 150 words. Should include your child’s age and grade when using the curriculum, how long you used the curriculum, what worked, what didn’t, who it’s right for, and a specific example from your experience.
What if my reviews are negative?
We want them. Honest is the whole point. Homeschool Foundry never filters or removes reviews based on tone. Negative reviews are often the most valuable because they save other families from spending money on something that won’t fit.
How are people selected?
We’re intentionally building a diverse group of reviewers, including a variety of homeschool philosophy (classical, Charlotte Mason, secular, unschooling, eclectic, faith-based, and more), family makeup, region, and years homeschooling. We want a wide range of voices, not a roster of people who all use the same curriculum.
What if I don’t get picked?
You’ll stay in the roster for the next cohort. You can also leave reviews on Homeschool Foundry anytime as a regular user. Additional invitations may be sent out to individuals who share helpful reviews on the Homeschool Foundry site.
Is the Facebook group required?
Yes. Daily prompts and community engagement happen there. You don’t have to post every day, but you do need to be a member during the 7-day cohort window.
Will my reviews be marked as cohort reviews?
Yes. Transparently. Every cohort-submitted review carries a visible “Trusted Voice: Incentivized” badge so readers know how it was contributed. We believe transparency builds trust, not the opposite. It will clearly state you received $10 for your review.
Who’s behind Homeschool Foundry?
A small team of homeschool parents and operators building the curriculum review platform we wish existed when we started. Real parents. Real reviews. No publisher money buying placement. None of the owners or employees own or work for any curriculum company.
Apply once. Get chosen. Make it count.
If you’ve been nodding along, this is the application. About 5 minutes. We’ll be in touch when we open the next cohort.
